McKamish was the HVAC contractor for the Riviera Lab Building located at Pittsburgh Technology Center.
This project included the installation of two rooftop units, two chillers, two laboratory exhaust fans, four boilers, three hot water pumps, and three chilled water pumps to support the building’s mechanical infrastructure.
A key component of the work involved routing chilled and hot water piping from ground-floor pump locations up six stories to serve rooftop equipment. Installation required the use of a 500-ton crane to set all rooftop units. Due to limited laydown space, equipment staging and placement were carefully sequenced to ensure an efficient and safe installation process.
